please help with mscomm32.ocx

I have to communicate with a gsm modem (Falcom A2D-1) to send and receive SMS's. Using the mscomm32.ocx control I can sort of send AT commands to the modem but the problem comes when the modem responds I don't know what the OnComm event is for but it is not firing at all. The property obj.INPUT somtimes hold the proper result but then losses it some how, and also how would I know when an incomming call or sms arrives. Without a event firing. Please help if you have any Idea on this matter.

Hi! I will soon be faced with same problem, because I am momentaly working on very similar project (using Falcom A2 GSM Modem).
So. I'd be very glad if you found out anything meanwhile and can share that with me ;) or if anyone else has idea about this, please please don't hesitate :)

I've got the Falcom working with the mscomm control make sure u set the handshaking property I'm not sure to what but comRTS is working for me.
