However my dads side is from Cumbria and my mums side is Scottish so does that make me an honory Northerner??

Well I am a bit like that too... I am both I think... As mums side is Southerner (apart from my grandad who was Polish... A bit further north) and my dad is from Newcastle! :) So I am a freak... :) but not the only one!
