connect to access thru odbc?

hi! how do i connect to access thru
odbc connection?
like what's the syntax :)

Plenty of examples in the help files that come with VB but I really got to ask you, Why would you want to? Jet access (ADO/DAO) would be much better for an Access database.

my friend is using Access 2000...and
jet cannot understand the database format

You just need to get/use the Jet 4.0 drivers.
