Surface Pro 3 Should I buy one
Hi,
I am considering buying Surface Pro 3 to replace my current ASUS Notebook N60Dp Series running Windows 7 machine has anyway got any experience with using the Surface Pro 3? Basically, I would use it for Office and Visual Studios as well as sometimes for games. Would the Surface 3 Pro be able to run that software? The games I am looking at are those on Steam because I would occasionally use it to play LAN games, and as most of us know a lot of First Person Shooters, etc are a bit rough on the memory and storage. The main reason why I am thinking of replacing my current machine is that ASUS Notebook N60Dp Series is a brick and I am looking for a machine that is lightweight so it will not tip me off balance when carrying it.
Thanks,
Nightwalker

I replaced a big-old HP mobile workstation with a Surface Pro 2 a year or so ago - it's great. It's a fully functional PC - I've got an instance of MS SQL on it - run VS - I code on it all the time.
Have a docking station with an extra monitor - even made a customer of mine buy a docking station for when I visit onsite.
I've been thinking that a Surface Pro 3 - with that larger screen size - might be a nice investment myself. Do they have a deal on black Friday - $150 off? Or is that just interweb bs...

I would not know about that since I am from Australia! I saw the advertisement for the Surface 3 Pro on TV.
