Is this a visual basic question? Or just in word? Please be more specific. What functions have you defined? Are you sure its file related?

In all my MS Word documents, after opening, when I close the document I get the message "sub or function not defined" error.

Wouldn't that be some code in your Normal.dot template or default document code (or something similar) if it happens on every doc? check it out....
