John, you already do it with Private Messaging, you have to wait 1 minute in order to send another Private Message, but why don't you do that with posts? So people can't post the same question twice by accident?

NO!!!
What about me?? I open many posts in new windows, hit the Reply link and disconnect when the reply screen appears. Then I type out replies to all the posts, connect again and hit the Send Reply button one after another. If for each reply I have to wait for a minute, I shall land up with a phone bill half my salary!
Please, John, don't be so hard on poor honeybee!
.
Matthew, I don't think that would be particularly viable, especially not for us Chit Chatters, who post to multiple threads at once.
honeybee: It would only work for those creating new threads, that's what I mean, not really replying in posts, but rather creating new topics.
Wouldn't really help, as you would end up having duplicate posts.
Nah! Even for PMs, if I send a message to all my buddies, that could generate effective spamming.
On second thoughts, for Me it wouldn't work, I just have 6-7 people listed. :p
.
What do you mean duplicate posts? I'm talkin' about threads honeybee.
Example: A person creates a thread, and it's takin' forever, although it has already submitted, the person presses the button again, and takes you to a page saying that you can only post new topics every 60 seconds. This will prevent people form at least creating 2 or 3 of the same topics from clicking Submit a few times.
I hate spam, why ruin a perfectly good ham.
As long as it's just about threads, well, I guess I shall have nothing to say against it.
With ya, Matthew.

You could make it that it won't let you post the SAME THREAD with the SAME MESSAGE twice in a minute... that'd make it OK for people to post different threads, but not the same one.
