DDD and nested domains?

Hi

When doing DDD you split up the project into "domains" (bounded contexts) being spheres of expertise/knowledge but what are your thoughts on the situation where some domains are effectively sub-spheres or nested inside others?

I agree with the idea of keeping teams orgainsed in separate bounded contexts, but sometimes the database or software model seems to suit a nested structure?

To answer my own question - it seems that so long as each domain has its own data model and you are disciplined in not using the common data store as a communication channel then a shared database or nested model is OK.
