Whats 112 degrees in real temperatures (Celcius :D)? Is it about 38-40C or something.
We're sitting at about 30C and it's bloody hot out. Luckily the office is air-conditioned and nice and cool.
I ain't strippin' as it's not a pretty sight!

No wonder all the Americans think that Canada's cold. When they do the weather forecasts here on telly, they do America in F and Canada in C (because thats what the respective countries use), and they say things like ... "in Utah it'll be 65 Degrees and up in ALberta it'll be 22 Degrees". All the yanks are looking at each other going, "Sh*t, it's cold up there!" :)
Of course it does hit -40C in the winter, so maybe their fears are justified :)

I lived in Oregon for eight years and I couldn't wait to get back to the sunshine and heat. I always thought Canada was cold year round until I actually went there. You guys get a bad rap here. You have a beautiful country and the weather was perfect the entire time we visited.
Thanks! We like it. But it does suffer from major extremes of weather.
I always like to imagine the first settlers coming out west in the summer and thinking "Wow, this place is hot! Well we won't need all these furs anymore, we may as well burn them or sell them to the local indians.".... boy where they in for a shock 6 months later.

Don't get me wrong, I do like, the hot sunny weather(A rearity in this neck of the woods) but not when your stuck in a shirt and tie, ina an office where the Aorcon has packed up :eek:

We sailed around the San Juan Islands in a 32 ft. boat one August (very romantic stuff:)), and also went to Vancouver and Banff(sp?).

Cool. I'm off to a mates wedding in Vancouver in July and Banff is one of my regular haunts (a tad expensive, but some nice pubs).
One of the things I miss about being in a landlocked city is the sailing. We used to do loads of it in Scotland. Yip there's nothing like the sea breeze on your face, the taste of salt in your mouth and sucking on a Fishermans Friend. Oh, yes, the decks and docks would be covered with Salty Old Seamen. Those were the days :)
