I believe a program called "BCX" can do this (not too sure though). Search www.download.com for this.
I would imagine something like this would not be very efficent. Not only is the "backend" core of other languages "faster" than VB, but the tactics you can use in coding, data structures, algorithims, logic structures, are more efficent in other languages. You can use ++, +=, /=, pointers, and smaller scalars. You probably won't gain much spend if a script converts VB code to something else. You would have to rewrite it yourself and conciously know when to employee these tactics.
Well, the reason is mainly I don't want to have to have huge runtimes and/or installation files.
