I didn't know that Goodreams could be an offensive user name :(, so I registered under a different name. I somehow feel this wasn't the correct thing to do though.
I won't use Goodreams anymore. :|

Just to make sure. I and Good Dreams are the same.
Why do you think "Goodreams" is offensive, did some one claim it.
Goo Dreams and Good Reams makes sense to you?

I don't find Goodreams offensive! It's a hell of a lot better than p@u, Eatitup etc. etc. :p
That should make you rethink your decision. :D
As for usernames making sense, I think more than half the usernames wouldn't make any sense to anyone.
.
I don't think it's offensive either. Humourous maybe, but certainly not offensive. I say, keep it as it is.
Did someone complain about it?
SD
No one said it clearly. When I registered, I didn't know the meaning of goo neither of ream. I picked it because in portuguese I can join the words too.
"Bonsonhos" is my nickname in portuguese.
"bons" is the plural form of "good" and "sonhos" is "dreams".
I just don't feel good in using this username "Goodreams". It is always read like "good reams" or "goo dreams".
Wow! Only now I saw my number of posts. Thank you John/James :)
I alway read your name as "good dreams" anyway :p

Exactly. Common enough in English company names etc to drop one of a repeating letter.Quote:
