What about changing ths settings of a program?
If it says in the EULA you can't, then no. But more than likely editing settings which you have no clue about will cause the app just to break anyway (I once screwed up realplayer by setting the MRU list to 0 in the reg, it didn't like it and went mad!!)
What if by changing it, it allows you to get on the internet for free with no hour restrictions? Oh, and it didnt say anything about the registry.
I'd say go for it. Serves them right for making it so easy to do so.
Actually ive been doing it for about a year. They know about it to because theyve specificly tried to stop me by changing the code and then telling the current application to download the new one. I just reinstall an old copy of it, and it lets me back on. I found this work-around by just messing with the registry to see what it did, and then the inernet service im using let me on for free. It was half by accident.
microsoft wont support you if you have changed the registry
What do you mean? Won't let me update Windows?
