E-Mail

I'm making an e-mail program. but i'm not sure how to send and receive mail :D So i need a little help.

It's a mystery to me why you want to make things that already exist. Why don't you just use a mail component as for example JMail, it's shareware, easy to use and not expensive. You can download it from anywhere. can't remember the url and today is my lazy day.
