What was this game?

Hey all, I've just had a vague memory of an old BBC game I used to play and I can't remember what it was called.

There was a wire frame, all in one plane (a geometric plane that is :rolleyes: ), with junctions between perpendicular lines and some of the lines had gaps in them. You had to travel along these lines with this little ball-type thing and.... and... well I don't remember what the point in the game was but I think you were avoiding something that was chasing you (a bit like pac-man) and trying to get somewhere at the same time.

Like I said, it's a very vague memory :rolleyes: Anyone got any idea what I'm on about?

Have you been eating those mushrooms at the bottom of the garden again?

Sadly, I can't remember the name of the game either!!! I know the one you are talking about too!!! :mad: Damn thats irritating!

Thanks Active, but I really don't remember the name of the game, just the look and feel of playing it... I remember moving along light blue lines...

I remember the game you're talking about...I think I still have it somewhere :) Will have to crank out the old Master :)

And yes, Granny's Garden was the best :) Damn those dragons were hard to get past :rolleyes:

My God!!! They have Hunt the Wumpus. This was the first game I ever had. It didn't look anything as good as that one, oweing to the fact that it ran on a 3k Hewlett Packard Data Logger, with only a single 26 character display for output (It took up half the dinning room table, dad used to take it home from work to learn programming). I typed it in from one of those big book of basic games sort of thingies!!!! I think that was about 1977.

I spent ages trying to map the caves out until I realised that it was actually a mobias strip (a one sided shape), which at 8 years old caused my mind to implode in gooey plop.

Mmm, I don't think so, but I have flown air-lingus a few times. You've got to admire a country that calls it's national airline that!! Never tried it myself though, it sounds somewhat acrobatic. :)
