What is Glaux.dll? What do you use it for?

Perhaps it's something to do with OpenGL.

Nehe's OpenGL tutorials use it.

Remember GLAUX {open GL Auxiliary Library } is no longer
Supported.

GLAUX is superseeded by GLUT {OpenGL Utility Toolkit}

I thought they avoided GLUT (in the beginning at least) in Nehe's tutorials so that it was clear what was going on underneath it all for learning OpenGL.

He doesn't use Glut. GLAUX is just used to load bitmaps.
