Create new role includes create view only

I am trying to create new role at the server to allow users to create new view.

Please can anyone help?

I'm sure there are some who can, but you might try providing a a more complete explanation than that. A good place to start would be to tell us what database you're using.

I am using SQL Server 2000, we had some type of users who want to create thier views to retrieve thier own data and at the same time we can't give them database owner.
