I want a new mouse other then a cord trackball.
I dunno which type to get.
Optical or cordless.
Are there better ones?

I'd vote for cordless optical mouse ;) Well in fact there is such a model but you can change the batteries each day I think *g - buy just a optical mouse, will be the best.. Also the good old ball-mouses aren't that bad though. ;)
Optical... Never need to clean the ball on the mouse again! :) Or Tracker Balls they are great too!
Optical. Get the Microsoft Intellimouse explorer (if you are right handed) Because it is a *VERY* good mouse. I love 'em. And for the record the Microsoft (as much i hate the company) also make a damn good Keyboard too. The Internet Keyboard. Mucho useful.
Personally I prefer the Ergonomic (I have probably spelt that wrong) Keyboard... That is the best M$ Keyboard... I have one... Bloody good. :)Quote:

is that one of the ones with the split keys, i mean that is divided between left and right hand keys...?
That's the one.
It's so each of his personalities can type at the same time....
Yes but we have a hard time about it so we generally work together to get a message across.. :D
Hehe, Not too keen on that personally, but then i have never used one...
They are actually very comfortable... Also helps to tackle RSI.
RSI? Repetative Strain Injury?
What about a graphics tablet. Depends what you want to do, but I think I'm planning to get one one day...
I have an A4 Wacom Tablet at home for my Mac... They are great for Graphic Design (using Photoshop etc).
RSI because it is shaped how your hands naturally sit on a keyboard.
Even thought you "never haev to clean them" what about when dust collects on the lens? I havnt had mine to long and I can already see it building up
I also use a Graphics tablet to, not that good for games thou, have you ever tried Chris?
Problem with ergonomic keyboards is that you have to be able to touch-type...us poor hunt-and-peck people have a bit of a hard time on them!
