Again bad experiences from the hosting provider. This time, it is Hostgator India(hostgator.in)!
They have ruined the name of it's parent, Hostgator US(hostgator.com) !!
The US version had good tech team with great technical knowledge and have good manners. Whereas the Indian team are, .......... no, I shouldn't say those words!
I am having VPS account, paying 4k INR monthly. And I am always treated like a beggar by them! Before purchase, I was treated as the king. Now, they are behaving like the king and I am like a beggar! If I had superpowers like Superman, then I would have already fried each and everyone in the tech team! :P
The chat reps are like the IVR system. Even when we explain each and every thing in detail, they would reply a canned message and would ask to open a ticket. I thought live chat systems were setup inorder to provide a faster solution for our issues.

I have some apps that got so much visitors. And I was on a shared hosting (Hostgator India). Since the traffic was huge, the server resources were consuming largely and my account got limited. So, I was forced to move onto VPS(Virtual Private Server), which is actually a Virtual Machine in Linux, I believe. And I was suggested to subscribe to the level 4 VPS, which I have to pay around 4100 INR per month, including server space rent + cPanel charge + service tax !!
Whereas in the US division, I think they don't specifically mention the tax as extra. But in India, they specify it as extra.
There are some admins, who are very good at clearing issues and they are very polite to. Likewise the chat reps too. Recently, talked to a guy and he was so polite. And in some cases, when I ask the admins to provide the details of the issue or how they have cleared, then they never reply at all!!
That attitude should be changed!

Have you started making money out of the site yet? If you are getting so many visitors you have to spend this big an amount on hosting every month, you had better be making money from it!
And there will always be better hosting solutions.

Not yet. But they have improved their services. Am still using their VPS server now.
I have filed an online consumer complaint against HP recently. But still not received any response from the officials! I guess no one is interested to hear what consumers has to say about!!
