can some one help me put code from 1 project to another

i found a source has chatrooms options i want to copy them to my project am finding it hard to add please help can i upload my source thanks can anybody help me with it

There are two ways to add code to your project, Simply add the form/module/class via the project menu in VB6 or copy and paste the portions of code you want in. It is not hard to figure out if you try. Now adapting someones elses code to work in your project may be a bit harder than that but that is how you learn.

This implies that you have tried to add it to your project.

What happened when you tried?

As DataMiser said, adding it is the easy part....getting it to work is a different story.

Do you have it added, but can't get it to work, or can't you get it into your project at all?

i have a client currently , i found a source in planet source simple source how to join room , i want to attach the room codes to my current project its simple but am lost
