Where would I look to get some help with creating a program that lets a user design/redesign a house/room/yard/garden? I am trying to find information on how to put a shape (rect/square) on a screen that the user can resize/partition/etc. Any ideas? Also, where to find graphics for accessorizing such a project...I know its alot, but I had to start somewhere!

I'd do a search on those CAD type file formats: DXF, DWG, WMF, DXX, EPS, 3DS, and others. Some keywords are: render, rendering, primitives, wire frame, solids, solid modeling, vector graphics and others.
