I have a project where the client wants to have a kind of MS Office Assistant in their program.
I try to find some information about the Assitant. I remeber that their is a VBA Object that can control the Assitant, but can not recall where I can find the information.
Can anybody give me a hint where to find information about this VBA/VB object?
I would highly recommend you look into using MS Agent. It's much like the Office Assistant, but WAY more functional and a heckuva lot more fun. It can talk to you (via a text to speech engine) and even recognize your speech. You can get full control over it from VB, VBA or even VBScript, which means you can use it in a VB app or on a web page. Anyways, I think I heard that MS plans to do away with the traditional office assistant and replace it with MS Agent...
Go to http://msdn.microsoft.com and do a search on AGENT. Trust me, you won't be sorry. It is easily the coolest thing MS has come up with.
I highly recommend them also. A few days ago I learned how to use them. Download the agent, text to speach engine, and the text engine. Then he talks!!!

Hi, I already have the Agent 2.0 but I have no idea how to use it. Do you guys know where can I find documantation about the Agent?

Thanks, for the information. I was able to get the Agent Character Editor and load it with all components.
I can perform almost everything, execpt building the character.
I get all the time error message "Unexpected Error".
Anybody had the same experience? And is their a fix for it? Or I am somthing wrong. I sued the manual for the Agent Editor to set my charater, un-installed and re-installed it. Without success.
