As a fish species distributed from the Aegean to the South East Atlantic, I cannot really benefit from sponsoring you. Besides, we only have plankton, not money. I wish you a good ride tomorrow, all the same. I hope you don't need to get your bum reamed (again). BB

I watched an episode of Bones a while ago during which I realised that Oxford is only 5 minutes away from London, so I'm not sure that it's worth sponsoring.

Mind you, I also discovered that England is currently languishing in the 1950s, and I'm not sure I'd fancy riding a 1950s bike any distance at all.

I am not sure what type of transport they used but I even if I take off in a plane from Heathrow it takes nearly 10mins to get overhead of Oxford. I presume he used a fighter jet then jumped from the plane with a parachute?

For everyone else its 60 miles so choose your favourite form of transport and adjust said time accordingly.

Many parts of the UK are stuck in the 50s; but there is a good reason. What other country from the 50s can boast 2Mbit broadband available to 80% of its population? ;) ;)

Ah yes, I'm not very good at paying attention to post dates.

And assuming that someone were to commit the cardinal sin of actually being serious in a CC thread and was happy to sponsor you.... is it too late and how would they go about it? I see I can donate through the site but that wouldn't appear in your name.

He wanted to hire an Aston Martin, but the hire people thought he said "Austin" and so they gave him a Mini. It was just so, so very funny, and really typical of what happens in England because we Brits are so stupid. :thumb:
