If you do a search you might find this has been discussed before.
NW, even I thought that it has been discussed before but when I searched for it, I couldn't find it. Maybe I was using the wrong keywords? Do you remember which thread it was?
Never mind found it. I had to use Google to search for VBF posts. Reminds me of this thread :(
BTW that thread discusses a different point. It is about closing the post immediately once the post is marked resolved. I am talking about autoclosing old threads. How Old? Well that can be decided later if this option is feasible.
