How about a page of site "stats". Like an average of how many people sign up a day. Average of visitors. Just a page full every little thing like that that you can think of. Have a link to up in the purple button area. I know you have alot to do, but this kind of thing doesnt seem like it would take too long to do.
There are already some Details in the front page..

~Or how many hits/visitors the page has had since the start or in the last 24 hours. How many new threads there have been how many more replies there have been (since the start of the day) how many new members have joined.
etc...etc
