Help me spend my money

Hi

I'm a little indesisive at the moment, if you had a whole 300 of the queens finest nuggets to blow, what would you get???

I was thinking along the lines of PS2/Mods 4 me car / clothes?

Any suggestions / donations welcomed!

Do you have a DVD player, if not get a PS2. If you do have a DVD player, then I'd personally hold off buying a PS2 until the Nintendo comes out (i.e. Drop in price).

Well I don't have a DVD, although I would prefer a PS2 over a Nintendo cos Grand Tourismo 3 (the gratest game of all time) comes out only on PS2 ?!?!?

Also I am inpatient, I want to spend my money now ;)

I was only suggesting waiting for Nintendo, 'cause it's bound to make PS2 drop in price:)

But if you don't have a DVD player, then the PS2 is a brilliant buy, 'cause it's like getting 2 kick-ass toys in one. Hook it up to the hi-fi, rent a stack of DVD's (I recomend 5th Element, True Lies and Star Trek:First Contract for awesome sound) and Get GT3 to play.

You'll be sorted!

I am a Dreamcast fan and Sony ruined it for US!! :rolleyes: well sort of....and I have seen stuff on the DC that is = in quality to the PS2. A system that supposedly BLEW AWAY DC..yeah right....

anyway M$ X-box is going to smoke the PS2 bigtime!

and you should see the list of developers already on board! Even a major title that was to be a PS2 only title has dumped the PS2 plans and headed for X-box!

or another thought...look into the INDREMA..an No name company putting out a LINUX based COnsole system! OPEN SOURCE GAME DEVELOPMENT! Anyone can dev games for it.

well....just had to say...I hate the PS2...

They're all so reasonably priced why not get PS2 now and X-Box when it comes out.

I've been watching the indrema for a bit now (even registered as a developer) it could be a cool toy, but will never take out the big boys.

Agreed SD...It will be cool but now way would it knock out any of the big names.

I still say a great PC beats a console anyday. Always get the best games. I am so tired of consoles because the only games the make now are exactly the same thing..Fighting games or....Final Fantasy(LOL).. and a driving game here and there. I miss the good old platform games of the Nintendo 8-bit.

Of couse I am a big fan of online multi player games so that has a big part of my love of PC's. At any rate any free money i get goes towards a PC upgrade.

Why not just get an emulator? I play Sonic nearly every day for a few minutes...keeps me happy :)

Or if I wanted a new console I'd wait until the X-Box comes out. Played PS2 and Dreamcast and was disappionted in them both (sorry), although it would be great to see Gran Turismo 3 when it comes out!

How about a holiday? You should be able to get a good last minute deal for that money

Holiday sounds good, but been of the indicisive type I would have to decide where to go, (insert rude comment here).

I have just put my car in for a service so theres a ton gone. :(
