What version of Crystal with VS2010?
I having a number of problems loading Crystal Reports into the Visual Studio viewer. I am writing the reports in Crystal Version 10 (outside of VS2010) and then loading them into the Crystal Viewer.
If I edit the report in VS2010 using the report editor it then upgrades the report to a later version that then produces further problems.
So it may be time to invest in a later version of Crystal.
Before I open my wallet can someone tell me the version of Crystal that works best with VS2010.
Re: What version of Crystal with VS2010?
I believe CR 13 comes with VS2010, or do you have a version of VS that doesn't come with CR? What does this mean,

How can you write a report in crystal, outside of crystal?
You might try Google, "Crystal Reports for .Net 2010".

Oops that was mean't to read (outside VS2010)
The version of VS2010 did not have Crystal Installed I had to install that seperately. And the version inside VS is harder to work with that using Crystal Reports direct. So what I want to do is create the reports in Crystal Reports directly and then import them into my project and attach them to the Crystal viewer that way.

sorry can't really help, I only use the version that comes with VS2010. But the version in VS2010 is 13.
