Crystal Rpts - "Edit/Paste Special" problem

I am using Crystal Reports and trying to copy a LINKED picture from the clipboard into a report.

When I click the Edit/Paste Special menu item and the Paste Special dialog box displays, the "Paste Link" option is dimmed out, only "Paste" is enabled.

What's going on?

This is an attempt(in a different way) to solve my Picture linking problem on Win7 computers using the Insert/Object menu item solution which works fine on XP computers but not on Win7 computers - see my previous post in this forum.

Really need your HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
