There are lots of user-run vanity forum sites that might lack effective moderation.
What sense would "every user is a moderator" make though. Everyone deleting each other's posts, etc. Sounds absurd.
Each user would be the 'ideal' user, whose posts will conform to the rules of the forum, so that a moderator would not be required...Quote:

As long as the rules are as flexible as the users, then no moderation is needed. Of course, the rules would have to be understood to be sufficiently flexible by the users. In other words, it would be a total free for all, and those who were easily offended or insufficiently thick skinned, would eventually leave.
There are forums without moderators. Things get very ugly on these forums. If you were to join one of them, do your best to preserve your anonymity.Quote:
