Is 63.236.73.220 a mirror of VBF ?
I have found it while searching in google. I opened it in the same browser(in a new tab) in which I have logged onto VBF. But the above one is not recognising me as logged in user. Whereas, vbforums.com does.

It is likely one of the current IP address. Can you tell me what search returned a result with this address? We should be redirecting this address to the domain name for search results.

I am guessing Yes, because I am able to get all the updates, for e.g. as soon as I posted something in a forum, I checked that the above URL shows me as the last poster in that forum too. So I think you are right.

I believe it is how the site is cookied -- to "www.vbforums.com" instead of the URI address. This is a guess though.
