Datasheet View in Sharepoint Cannot be displayed

Hi

Some of our users are experiencing a datasheet view cannot be displayed because of active x settings, I also get a similar error but it is not to do with active x iti just says cannot display and will switch to standard view. I have tried the following:

Check all active x settings
Check Access 2007 is installed no all machines
clear history/cookies

None of these have resolved the issues and the only way it stops the error for a while is completely closing IE and restarting.

Any ideas what is causing this as it is driving us all nuts?
