Those who thought it's going to be a flop might still be surprised. I hope they are and jealous too.
If that is not success then what is it?

I seem to have missed the moment when RhinoBull turned into Icyculyr. :)
That statement means that their share price ended higher than it had started on Wednesday.
If that is so, then I would suggest firing the author and hiring someone with a command of the English language exceeding that of a 5th grader.
I'm pretty sure "ended up" is fairly common phrasing for market reporting.
I thought I was wearing bell bottoms and high heels... Anybody else with ideas?
keep going, you're on the roll.
The cape is a nice touch.
Are you Stayin' Alive or j-j-j-jiiive Talkin'?
Every time an Apple product is due there are people predicting it will be a flop.
look here http://www.picturesandjokes.com/from...touch-to-iron/
....and I'm the one to get that IRon from his wife ("you can iron your shirts yourself now")
In my opinion Apple products are way over hyped/expensive for what they offer. I really doubt the general public who upgraded from the 3GS really needed the increased MP on the camera and faster CPU..
The only thing I think Apple has done well on would be Marketing their products, otherwise everything else isn't in my eyes 'original'.
They seem to be good at exploiting child labor in low standard of living countries too, give 'em credit.
Oh, the humanity
i know their shares went down when they launched iphone 4s , not iphone 5. but people will still buy iphone 4s . heard there are still significant differences between iphone 4 and ihpone4s
Since the launch of the 4S also put it in the hands of Sprint users, it has allowed a significant number of new users access to apple products. Indeed, that is precisely what I did.
How many users upgraded from a 4 to a 4S? or an earlier model?
How about upgrading from a competing smart device?
Number of users obtaining an Apple device for the first time?
From what I can see, the expectation for an iPhone 5 was extremely high, so the 4S was a let down in comparison; coupled with the Siri controversy that put a bit of a black cloud over the affair.
I'd also contend that share prices of a company that makes and sells physical products don't necessarily give an indication of the health of a company, or the success, or specifically failure, of a given product.
every day now my neigbor negs me about what smartphone he should buy :
moti look htc sensation xe it is the strongest, look look ! they lowered the price by 20NIS
loooooooooooook looooooooooooooooooook !
or maybe I should get 4s to have siri but it cost more, oooooooooooh look motorola has a 12mega pixel camera.
moti moti look
I tell him dudde just get a laptop for 700nis you already have an ipod
no but this is the newest and I can facebook and skype
but you only do that 2-3 hours tops a day then you get bored
moti my cousin has an htc sensation xe it is android but not much aps but it is cheaper it was stolen when he went abroad
I don't care
he's like I'm buying it, wait wait it is 12 NIS cheaper in the north
I'm definitely in the "Apple are Over Priced and Over Hyped" camp but you'd be a fool to predict their products woulr be flops. While I've never been blown away by their tech it's undoubtable that their marketting is superb and they seem to have an uncanny ability to tap into the zeitgeist.
