Not all corn can be used to make popcorn you know.
At least that popcorn doesn't hurt your stomach.
Not a popcorn lover myself. Hate it when someone burns the stuff at my workplace. Nowhere to run to get away from the stench
Popcorn
it has to be a specific type of corn or is it corn that harvested at a specific stage ?
Did you even glance at the link I posted?

What did you do with those "Native Americans". They most probably knew other ways to prepare corn into a tasty meal.

The two of the biggest uses for corn, that I can think of are Corn Sugar - Eventually turned to HFCS
and Ethanol.
Hi moti,
Instead of putting whole corns in microwave to get pop corns why don't you try packet pop corns. They are easy to make and delicious in taste.
yes i agree with it , packet pop corns are very easy to make and it takes 2 minutes, better than putting a whole corn in the microwave.
That is debatable... I prefer traditional popped or air popped.Quote:

I thought it was about email pop protocols
so this special corn, I wonder if it grows form any corn like a recesive or dominant gene or is it comletely a different thing. do I plent the kernel ?
Actually "corn" is a word very like "grain" in meaning though in some places we consider it to mean a grain of maize as opposed to wheat, barley, rye, etc.
So you probably mean an "ear of corn" and not "a whole corn."
And yes, wheat comes in ears as well.
Popping corn normally refers to varieties of maize that are good for popping. And yes, you can buy "seed corn" to grow your own if you can't get the stuff from the store to sprout reliably.
Popcorn!!!
The other white meat
popcorn and movies...the best combination ever!
