[RESOLVED] Angle to vector

Can I please have some help in converting a 2d angle into a 3d vector? I have it in either radians or degrees.

The question is too vague to answer. In which plane is the angle measured? For each one, there's a different answer.

Basically I am wanting to convert my 2d ship facing angle to work as a direction vector in a 3d world for the facing direction of the 3d model...
