It's the Intel ad that expands but would not collapse unless you manage to find the "close" button and actually click it.
Can something be done about it so collapses by itself, please?
Thanks.

I've commented about this ad internally quite a bit. Having said that, I'll add one more comment and see if they can add some timing logic to it to make it close automatically. I'm not going to hold my breath for the the change, but I'll ask seriously.
Brad!
Much appreciate it Brad. Hope someone finally listens.
They've listened to some of my other comments as well :) I didn't mean to imply they have not listened.
They said they will look into a 'time out' on this ad that would put it back to normal size after a few seconds. We'll see how it goes.
Brad!
That'd be great! Thanks again.
At least the ad doesn't try to talk to you when you accidentally mouse over it... now THAT was an annoying ad.

My speakers are off most of the time so THAT was not THE biggest pest for me... :)
Since this ad is still there I don't suppose there is any progress...
Have brought the ad up internally a couple times. I'll do it again.
Thanks Brad.
Don't worry Rhino - they won't distract from the issues of the Intel ad...
:)
Note: I just pinged our ad guys again about the Intel ad.
Sounds good. Thanks again.
By the way, I've never seen the behavior that RhinoBull is reporting on that Intel add. There are two possibilities there:
1) It is a browser specific issue.
2) It just never bothered me enough to register.
Couldn't say which is right.
Guys, please don't highjack this thread with other issues - everythig from post 15 and later was already reported here.
I'd appreciate if mods can slplit those posts and move them to that thread.
Actually, I believe these are all issues with Intel ads, so they all seem related.
I didn't open this thread to accumulate all of the problems with the Intel ad. My only intention was to point to one very specific annoyance which isn't exactly a problem therefore I think it makes a whole lot of sence to split "annoyances" from "problems".
Thanks.
Thread splt.
Intel ad issue that pushes screen to right was pulled out into a separate thread.
I just discovered the intel ad first mentioned in this thread... It looks like it has a roll over event that expands it out, but they seem to have forgotten to put in some kind of time that would collapse it back down after a specified amount of time. The only way to close it back down is to click the Close link on it.
It does a pretty good job of covering the CodeGuru ad next to it... I would think the sales people would be all over that.

Correct. That is the annoying ad. I've asked a few times now for a time-out event to be added to put the ad back into its normal size.
