Outlook Macro for Search Filtering
I have decided to change my approach to emails and essentially have 2 Exchange accounts and a Gmail account in Outlook. I know that you can create Search Folders for say, Unread Items; however, that will only apply to one particular mailbox at a time, which I do not want.
Additionally, I know you can essentially use client-side rules to create a generic inbox that moves all incoming email to each mailbox into it; again, not what I want.
Usually, I can just use CTRL + ALT + A to get to the search filters, where I filter by Unread, past year (to be sure I get them all), where Folder is Inbox. This effectively displays all unread email that is only in the Inbox of each mailbox.
This is fine if this is all that I can get; however, I would love to be able to create a Macro and assign a keyboard shortcut so that I can just get to this point with it. Is this possible?
Thanks!
Mike
Re: Outlook Macro for Search Filtering
You could create two search folders so it searches one per each account?
