Preventing displayed web pages from being saved in Temp Int Files
Is there a way to do? Can I view a web page, or download a file from a web page and have it only be saved where I want it be saved and not also be saved in the temporary internet files folder?
I have a small hard drive on this computer and I keep running into problems when I go to download a file from a website and it wants to store the file in the location I choose and also store the file in the TIF folder as well.
I've been using wininet with olelib to do the downloading if that helps any.

I don't know if this helps but if you switched to FireFox you can set the space for the Cache (=Temporary Internet Files).

have you tryed Tools > Internet Options > Settings > Move Folder
maybe moveing the folder to a bigger drive or something.

Sorry, internet access hasn't been available for the past day plus and have finally just gotten back online.
I'm not using the 'web browser' for this program. This is a totally stand alone program that searches a given website looking for audio, video or document files. It lists them on the screen in a Listbox and lets me choose which files I want to download. It saves the files to a directory with the name of the website but it is also saving any files in the TIF directory as well. For the most part it isn't a problem unless it happens to be a big file than I run into Low Disk Space error popping up and sometimes it won't even save the file because I run out of disk space.
