In my app I would like to dynamically change the height of a label so that it is just tall enough to show all the text of the caption. I think that in order to do that I need to be able to determine the number of lines of text in the caption. Does anyone know how to do that, or does anyone have a better way?

you can do it by this simple way:
put this property of the label AutoZise=True

Thanks, but I need to maintain the labels Width, and if I set AutoSize to True, that's difficult.
