Can anyone help

I'm really new to any form of VB programming and the question I am going to ask is most probably going to be laughable to you all, however:

I am trying to create a form which will allow me to take information from an attached database holding information on:

class names (ie Year6 Dragons)
Students names (ie Sarah Jessica Parker)

I want the design to look very similar to the form used in MS Access for the query wizard, which will allow me to choose a class and then specific students.

Does anyone know where I can find an idiots guide video to this or maybe the code?
