What didn't he win? I don't understand.

Also on the topic of weird films, Total Recall, is the whole film based around the memory chip, i.e. what we see is what arne had paid for, or is it that he really was a top agent / bad guy. Who knows.

And I have a question, John boy and Sambo (I know them both personally) are carrying a suitcase in the film Plup Fiction. But what is in the suit case?

Marselles Wallace had a plaster on the back of his neck. now when satan removes souls it is done so from the back of the neck. the combonation on the breifcase was 666 (number of the beast not satan) then when the man with the '*****ing hand cannon' shot at them he missed every time. Divine intervention - nothing is more holy or good than saving a soul (which technically vince (and i can't rememeber samuel l.'s name (DAMMIT!!)) were doing (saving a soul that is)

so the answer is Marselles Wallaces soul was in the briefcase. :D

I do like films that make me think, i just didn't like the ending to the story. that was all :)

Why does the devil remove souls through the neck?

Why / how do John and Samuel's characters have the briefcase?

How does this mean they're "saving" MWs soul?

Is MW intrinsically good or evil?

Why is it that Vince(?) does eventually get shot - where is the divine intervention there?

John got shot in the end because he didn't believe whereas Sam did believe and was ultimatly saved.

It doesn't matter if MW is good or evil, everyone is capable of remorse and having a soul, if they repent they (apparently) are good.

S+J get the briefcase by killing the people who stole it in the first place, MW was doing a deal with the devil and the guys who got killed *****ed it up. They were redeemed of the killing because they were doing the holiest of holies.

don't know why the devil removes souls through the neck, he just does. probably something to do with the neck being vunerable and near the brain.

The Devil removes Souls through the neck because if you check your literature (of Roman history especially). It was the easiest way to kill someone and they thought that was the quickest way to release the soul into the afterlife.
