[SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
Can anybody help me find a list of manga that:
- Have a title starting with K
- Are about monsters or vampires
- Have a 2-word title that is someone's name
- Are available at Bolen Books in Victoria, B.C.
- Only have one volume available
- Were released sometime in 2010
Thanks in advance!

Yes, my friend can help you on this. ;)

Would I really ask for this on VBForums without Googling my eyes off first? :)
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
This isn't really pertinent, but I am morbidly curious as to why you are even asking for this.

Maybe he's creating a game... ;)
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
There are a number of ways of which the first one is to visit the shop in question.
A second method is two check their website http://bolen.bc.ca/
Unfortunately they only provide a search feature, not a list of books in stock.
However the main way to build up a list would be to use a manga directory site,
I suggest http://www.mangaupdates.com/ search for Baka Updates Manga if the link is removed or does not work.
You can search by Series Name, MangaKa, Genres, or Categories
Try searching on Vampire or Monster in categories.
If you really want someone else to compile a list thenr you would need to be
a bit more specific with some of your search terms.
- Only have one volume available (In your country or in the Japan)
- Were released sometime in 2010 (Again, Is this for volumes in your country or in Japan)
Hope this helps.:afrog:
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
have a look here for Mangas starting with "K" at least.
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
@stlaural: Thanks, I already looked on OneManga
@Torc: In Canada (Bolen Books). Thanks for the link!
@akileshbc: No, I'm just looking for a particular manga
@Shaggy Hiker: Morbid curiosity? Well I'll have to tell you then, if you're that curious: I want to read this one book that I saw at Bolen Books in Victoria while I was there, but I had to leave before I had a chance to read anything other than the back of the book and its title. I forgot the title, but I know the (way) above facts about it.
Thanks for all your help!
EDIT:
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.h...sters&letter=K
I can't find it here...
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.h...gory=Vampire/s
Or here... :( This manga doesn't seem to exist anywhere!
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
It looks like a lot of the titles on the linked sites are Japanese - when you say it starts with a k, do you know if you're looking for an anglicized title?
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
I have no idea. But the name sounded very Japanese and the manga collections don't offer any Japanese letters to search for...
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
You can call them (Bolen books, that specific store) and ask if somebody could help you.

Alright, if Japanese, any chance you can remember the letter that came after k (a, i, u, e or o)?
日本語を読めるか?これが役に立つか?
If you can't read Japanese, the above link will be mostly useless, though I could translate the group that begins with "k".
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
@Nightwalker83: No, that's not it and it's not in that list. By the way, if it helps any, the image on the front was of a kid with a creepy, pointy-toothed smile.
@SambaNeko: I meant that it was one of those anglicized Japanese names, and it started with a K.
Maybe I will call Bolen Books... but with a vague description to give them like that it would seem sort of silly :)

...I know. If you can read Japanese then you can derive the anglicized name from there (Japanese: ケロロ軍曹 = anglicized: Keroro Gunsou), hence the link to the Japanese list. And if you can't read Japanese, I was offering to anglicize the list for you.
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
No, I can't read Japanese... :)
Re: [SORT OF URGENT] List of manga
I found an easier-to-read list on Japanese Wikipedia, so I looked for a list on English Wikipedia - see if you can find your title here (note that there's a "next 200" link at the bottom of the page to see the rest of the K section).
