Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1
Has anyone installed and played with the new Service Pack 1 for Visual Studio 2010:

Not sure I am brave enough to install it just now, only just got my machine running the way I like it. Might run up a VM and install it if I get a chance.

Its the beta so I will test it out on a virtual image first. Then when its released I will apply to my production system. Cant wait :)

Agreed. Looks like there are some very welcome additions in this service pack.

Sorry I don't mean to hijack your thread but, is VS2010 stable and not buggy?, I'm wanting to upgrade and try it out but threads like this http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...ghlight=vs2010 get me a bit worried.

I've had virtually no issues with it and certainly no more than with 2008 or 2005. If you want to play it safe and wait for SP1, it shouldn't be too far away. I'd recommend jumping in now though. Just make sure that you allow the upgrade wizard to create a backup when upgrading your projects as a safeguard.

Hey,
I have to agree with John, I have had a very good experience with Visual Studio 2010 so far, and would highly recommend using it.

Thanks for the quick replies. I will give it a spin, but first Christmas....
Re: Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1
We have already launched a few new projects so far under 2010 and FW 4.0 to over 1,000 service agents in our produciton environments which during the holiday month of december averaged 40,000+ calls transfered to the desktop. No bugs and stable to say the least. ;)
If you havent started with 2010 you should do so at your first chance.
