.net 3.5 not instaled !!!

Hey to all ....
Thank you all in advance for helping us. i have no idea if it is the right place to ask me question. However, i have got a problem that i did not know what to do with it.. My problem is i have a set up file for truview program that helps to browse my job drawings.. Anyway when i tried to install it in my lap top .. such annoying message say .net 3.5 not installed and asked me to check my system admin. Would you please help me to sort tiis problem out? Your immediate response is very highly appreciated ...

Without wishing to state the obvious, why don't you jut install the Net 3.5 Framework?

One point to note, depending on your company policies (assuming you work for a company, and not yourself) you may or may not be allowed to install this. You should really check with your IT people whether they want it installed, and perhaps get them to install it for you.

I know we have lots of problems regarding getting this package installed at some of our client sites.

thank you for your help ... i downloaded the 3.5 framework from Mr. Doogle's linke ... but when i set up it ended up saying.. it is not met tmy computer ..

i am pretty sure that, it is allowed for me to install the program because i have one of my friends already installed in his lap top .therefore the problem with my computer !!.. and it seems 3.5 framework for windows service pack2 not installed ... hope to be sorted out soon

The error that you have now is that you require an updated version of the Microsoft Windows Installer, version 3.1.
