Where we use reference and where we use pointers ?Write their differences and advantages and disadvantages .

I've never seen pointer used in a database. You question doesn't make much sense unless it is your schoolwork. I suggest you read up on pointers and references so you at least know what they are.

If you need that question answered then you don't need to use pointers. I agree that this sounds like homework.

Pointers are not used in databases, but there is something called a "reference", also called foreign keys... is that what you are asking ?
