Hehehehehe
So Java programmers are less superior than VB programmers? Did you make up that chart, mendhak?
In fact, if you look at the arrows, it means that everybody thinks they are superior to Java Programmer exept "People who insist on calling HTML a programming language", while Java Programmers think they are superior to everybody :P
Fortran and Ada are incorrectly placed. Fortran should be between Assembler and C. Ada should be in a submarine somewhere off the coast of Malta.
Cobol programmers are either out of contact with the corporeal world or are beneath 450 tons of piano-paper printouts of legacy code that is still scheduled for translation into a more modern language, e.g. Pascal.
The Fortran programmers had it coming. A couple of Universities canceled Fortran from their syllabi.
Not quite - the chart says the arrows represent the coders of X language feel superior to (where arrow points), so on that chart, it says that every other programmer feels superior to Java programmers, even VB coders, which is actually quite true.
It doesn't mean they are superior though. That'd be flat-out wrong... *wears flame-retardant suit*
That last entry (HTML) also reminds me of the time in sixth form, when our teacher asked us of any languages that compile, and someone said HTML. Nearly the whole class laughed, and the teacher was trying to kindly justify his answer by saying the browser was like an interpreter. Oh man, good times.
Lisp was written in HTML *fact*
mendhak, you've got some really funny pics in that folder http://www.mendhak.com/extras/
Is this you?

The "Sweet, Futurama's on" one amused me greatly, even though it's not one of the better episodes. That moody looking chick isn't even looking at the TV, she should be out buying shoes or something.Quote:
