who agrees with me?
not only do they have an annoying bar on your screen, now they have a 40-hour a month max per phone line!! and now also everytime you start it, a HUGE-full screen browser pops uppppp with netzero.com or something like that
I read previous posts, and saw how to hide the bar:) thats solution number 1
ok.. how do I have more than 40-hours a month on one phone line? there must be some hack
and problem 3 is easily solved by click STOP on the first IE browser that it opens.

I do, but a friend is having these problems

ok, I know i shouldn't really be posting this, but this is how to get rid the of banner, and the 40 hour limit:
in Notepad goto c:\program files\netzero\bin\JPEG.dll
and delete the contents, save it, and then start netzero, and no banner, and no limit
note:
ZCAST cannot be running at the time you modify the files..
also If this does not work, I am in no way responsible.
Nor am I responsible if your service is disconnected because NetZero found out
about this. They may have a rule on disabling the banner, I don't know.
At any rate, i am not to blame.

I dropped NetZero...went back to AOL .
Can't have both, causes serious damage to the comm ports (well, in order to fix it, you have to reformat the whole computer :o).

with my cable modem, I found that when comcast's servers are running slow, I can use NetZero to connect, and it runs really fast.

Netzero is an evil, evil company.
Very slow, hour limitations, pop-up ads, constant banner, and a 20 minute limitation of being online. I have had them for a year and a half - only because I have been broke. now that I got that Jr. Programmer position I am getting cable and a new PC. :)
