toyota matrix 2009.
Image : http://www.cardata.com/images/2008_n...ota_Matrix.bmp
Pros : lots of space. doesn't use much gas. starts well on winter even at -30°C
Cons : its not a sport car so its not that fun to drive, but I really don't care about that, gets me from A to B :)
1999 gold sunfire.
Pros: was cheap, is good on gas and has given me no problems
Cons: it is a '99 gold sunfire.
Car 1 2002 Nissan Sentra
Pros -- gets me to work
Cons -- Not a lot of fun to drive. Breaks rusted out in 2 years and need all new parts. ECM died in 3 years need to be replaces. Windows constaintly film up on the inside. (would never by a Nissan again after this one)
Car 2 1984 Vette
Pros Its a Corvette and is a blast to drive. 2 seater only, Removeable top
Cons-- Expensive to own (again Its a Corvette), not great on gas in town (only about 17 mpg) Ok on highway (about 24 mpg). Not a lot of room to lug thing, parts are expensive (tires around $1,000 to $1,250 to replace)
Pros once again It's a Corvette and a blast to drive.
2001 Buick LaSebre, enough said.

1998 Subaru Legacy Brighton:
Pros: Reliable, good gas mileage, sufficient power for my needs (occasionally towing a small sailboat).
Cons: Discontinued.
My car:
http://www.caranddriver.com/var/ezwe...cd_gallery.jpg
Pros: Decent Gas Mileage.
Cons: Not enough power to tug a sailboat.
Golf V TDI, good build, solid size, low gas consumption.
2004 toyota celica gt
pros:incredible handling, hatchback, looks awesome, great gas mileage(i average ~31mpg),fun to drive
cons:not as fast as id like, automatic, backseat is useless cause its so small
Car 1:
2007 Chevrolet Silverado SS
Pros: Fun to drive and this gets going quick! Flowmaster makes it rumble even more.
Cons: SS + Pickup = Horrible gas mileage, but surprisingly, it gets around 15mpg around town. Much better than my '99 Suburban, which got 10 mpg in town on a good day.
Car 2:
2007 Dodge Charger SRT8
Pros: Fun to drive, Slightly better gas mileage than the Silverado, a complete BEAST on the road.
Cons: It's the wife's car, and she doesn't let me drive it very often. :(
Nonexistence 2010.
Pros : Doesn't use any gas, never breaks down ever, no insurance necessary, no maintenance costs, no registration fees, don't have to wash it, never gets stolen.
Cons : I use my bike or my feet but this is just another pro.
Last was using my own car in mid 2004. Sold that car in 2007. I've been a carless person ever since not to be confused with a careless person.
I'd like to do that, but the two hour commute each way by bike would make for a seriously long day, and none too safe, either.
Car #1
2001 Ford Mustang Cobra vert.
Pro: decent power, fast, convertible, no problems of ank kind, a blast to drive, convertible
Cons: Gas guzzler ~16mpg, expensive, rear seats dont fold down for cargo store because its a convertible, building new engine to support drag racing because not enough power
Car #2
2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Pros: too many things to list but its even more fun to drive and is supercharged with 500hp
Cons: expensive as heck, even bigger gas guzzler ~12mpg, afraid to park it anywhere, makes me spend money on fixing it up as a show car
Ps, hey blakk_majik, you got your wife a cool car. You should be the one driving it ;)
BMW F800GS
Pro: It's not a car, average MPG of 65 even when torturing it, more torque than God, traffic jams don't exist when you can ride right through them, it's an twinduro so will perform well on road, and very well off road.
Cons: People judge you when hanging an air freshener from the mirror
:-)
1995 Ford Econline Van
Pros: It is paid for
Cons: It is an V8 that loves gas
Car: none.
Pros:Save on gas/insurance/taxes.
Cons:Buy boots more often and get wet when it rains.
Wow...!!!! can you guys include a small photo of the car as well as an approx. price ? :)
2004 Mazda B4000 Truck (Ford Ranger in disguise).
It is paid for and it runs.
2000 Dodge Neon
Pros: It was free, cheap and easy to maintain, reliable, fits virtually anywhere you can park, decent gas economy, cheap to insure
Cons: Now has 90K Miles on the odo, small engine + 4 cyl's = slooooow, horrible decals which are now peeling off, does not deal well with small fender benders (seems like even the slightest accident requires a couple of parts replacements).
The only cars I really could consider "mine" were neons. a black 97 I shared with my sister a red 98 I shared with my pops and now this 2000 which was given to me as a going away gift (used, of course lol). Given the chance to buy a new car I'd make the switch to another make/model because I'd like a little more storage space and some extra power.
:D Maybe he wants to buy it from you.
So you either don't care, or are a very good father and husband.
BMW 325i - 2002
Corvette - 1981
The BMW is brilliant. Not too expensive of a model, but every bit a BMW. Mine has 98,0000 miles on it, but runs as smoothly as day one. I would still trust it in a cross country drive.
The Corvette looks stunning with brute force power to spare, but lacks the elegance and quality of the BMW. Still, it is fun to drive.
Bows to Gangsta Yoda. That's the car I wanted, but the wife would have none of that price tag.
Ha. In all honesty though, I'm a truck guy. Driving her car nice, very nice, but I still prefer a pick-up or suv at the end of the day. I even had an 07 Impala (non-SS) up until recently (traded it in toward the Silverado). I loved the gas mileage, but I just missed having a truck way too much to drive a "family sedan" any longer.
Does any one own a vehicle like the Audi A4 or S8 (Transporter 3) ? :)
@BM, I worked a good deal from doing my research and finding a site that told me how much was invoice and how much was everyone in my zip code was paying for them. I got it for ~2,500 below invoice which is close to virtual cost. They still get a couple fo G's rebate and Ford incentives so it was as low as I could turn the screws :D
I need a truck too so I can haul things for home remodeling projects and buying things like furniture. :
@Hack, can I borrow your van? :)
@akhileshbc, shall we start posting pics?
I dont have my own car yet, but i have been driving an '06 Ford Mustang V6
this isnt the one i have, just googled.

Oh so now the truth comes out! You said that that one was your car and you hired the girl to model.
Oh and I had asked if it was a V6 or V8 pony. Now I see. V6 good on gas.
well check the other place that we talk. I replied to your question
"Hey look at me, I've only just passed my test and I'm driving a Mustang"
You make me sick Dylan!... Can't even drive a manual ;-)
I don't understand how you can pass your test without any experience in a manual car, and then legally drive one?
I'm a wrong in saying it's a lazy way of driving?
How many here remeber 3 on the tree... Got me a lot of easy jobs in the Navy I was one of 3 on the ship who know how to use it.
