Unfortunately, the manual is pretty poor because while they explain that you need the RS232 port to communicate with the outside world, they don't tell you any of the commands you'd need to get data from the scale. Since they tell you how to configure it for many various ECR (Electronic Cash Registers) most likely, these use some type of standard. You'd have to investigate to find one. Since the manual claims configuring the RS232 port to use the "NCI General Interface" is common to most P.O.S. systems, I'd Google that and see if you can get any info on this "NCI General Interface" to find the command set.
