parameter passing in crystal reports 9 from vb6

I have created a CR9 report with parameter named "trdate" and that is type of date and i have created a VB6 form and i place a monthview and a dtpicker component i m passing selected date value of monthview component to dtpicker and i want to pass this value to CR9 for that i am looking for code .

i tried some code but those are not working fine .i just want to give this parameter vlue at runtime.

looking for some useful code.
