data validation

hi
sheet have two option buttons. when one button clicks it show the colum which it has data validation.
but other button clicks hide that column but it showing drop down arrow. how to avoid that? columnis hide but drop down arrow still shows?

What drop down arrow?

Can you post a screen shot?

Before or after hiding the column, select a cell in another column.
If the column is hidden but the cell with validation List is still selected, the arrow will not disappear even the cell is in the hidden column.

Again, move cell selection out of the hidden column.

yes when i move cell seleection the arrow goes off. but is that any other way it goes off when the column is hidden

Yes. But that is the easiest way. Why not to do that?
