The question is self-explanatory:
I usually pay, unless it's out of my price bracket. The way I see it, once I a) have some money, and b) actually use it for something useful, I'll pay. For example, I paid for a copy of Win2000 (first MS OS I bought -- Win98 was copied). Office 2000, however, was not, because I'm only a student and can't justify that kind of cost.
I bought all my MS Software....
Office, Visual Studio, Etc.
I don't pirate 'important' software, such as, Virus Scanners and other utilities(I bought Norton, and have a legal OEM copy of McAfee Office), and I do not use illegal operating systems. The programs that I haven't paid for are:
Photoshop 5 & 6(going to buy 6 when I get money)
Paint Shop Pro 6 & 7(going to buy 7 when I get money)
Microangelo 5(I don't use it much)
GetRight(I never use it)
That's about all the illegal software I have.... I use Paint Shop Pro 7, and Photoshop 6 quite often, so I am going to buy those first.... If I wasn't a student I would have to pay ~$500 for Photoshop rather than ~$300....
Probably not a wise idea telling everyone what illegal apps you have...there might be a member of Gate's Gang snooping around...Quote:
