Saving data from MS Flex grid and text boxes

Hi, I have a 3 text boxes and a MS flexgrid with information and I would like to know the easiest way to save it. It could be either in MS Excel, MS Word or a text document. The information should be saved to a new excel sheet or ms word document or text document whenever I click a command button.

Thanks. But I would like to know if it is possible to save the excel file without opening it. Which simply means saving it from the command button.
